WITHOUT SCIENCE THERE IS NO DEVELOPMENT OF SERBIA

In the hall of Electronic faculty in Nis the festival `Nauk nije bauk` - `Science is not a bogeyman` was opened. The organizer is the founder of this unique manifestation, organized for the fourth time, this year with the motto World is in science with 500 participants from whole Serbia and 47 settings from various scientific spheres, is `Svetozar Markovic` gymnasium in Nis. The minister of education and science Zeljko Obradovic, said at opening ceremony that without science there is simply no development of Serbia and that the quality of educational and scientific system should be raised at higher level. Human potential with which Serbia disposes is the most valuable thing and our pupils have in the last four years won 400 medals on various international competitions said Obradovic. Ministry together with the city works on the project of opening scientific-technological park in Nis and in the end new flats for young scientific workers and it is expected that the continuance of structuring of student home institution, emphasizes the Minister.
According to PhD Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality, gymnasium `Svetozar Markovic` in the best way promotes connecting of young scientific workers all over the world and inclusion of Serbia into world academic streams that will provide the preserving of national intellectual potential among the young. The result of this activity is connecting of Palilula with French town Doullens that will be made official with Agreement of cooperation.
